The following terms and conditions stated below apply to makeup services provided by an artist(s) working for Juliana Cruz Makeup to a client be it an individual, group or business. Upon payment of the booking fee for a makeup service with Juliana Cruz the client acknowledges they have read, understood and agree in full to the following Terms & Conditions stipulated in this contract.

Special Occasion

DEPOSITS: All bookings (other then weddings) require a $40 non-refundable booking fee to secure your appointment. The remaining balance is due on the day and payable by correct cash or EFTPOS. A 2% EFTPOS processing fee will be added to every transaction and applied at checkout.

DELAYS: Any client that arrives late to their scheduled appointment by 20mins or more will unfortunately be unable to have a full face of makeup applied due to the lack of time.  Clients will have the choice of having either their eye makeup or base makeup applied for the cost of a full makeup application. If the lateness of a client will impact other scheduled appointments, the artist reserves the right to cancel that appointment without incurring liability for any consequential loses or damages incurred as a result. 

RESCHEDULING/CANCELATIONS: Clients may reschedule the booking anytime up to 48 hours prior to the appointment time using the same deposit amount.  The appointment will need to be rescheduled to a new date/time depending upon availability during the same period when the original booking is rescheduled. However once this change has been made, no further changes can be made and any additional rescheduling will require a new deposit.

We kindly request a minimum of 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule any appointment. Cancellations after this time will incur a cancellation fee of up to $110.

Credit card details are required to secure any booking via paid deposit. Failure to attend a booked appointment or cancelling for any reason, including COVID, without the required notice will incur a no-show/cancellation fee of $110 that may be charged to your card on file

If the artist is too ill or the occurrence of an unlikely event prevents the artist from performing her duties and needs to cancel the appointment, 100% of any payment received will be refunded. The client agrees that Juliana Cruz makeup will only be liable for 100% of the payment refunded. 

PARKING: All parking expenses associated with providing that makeup service for example but not limited to Hotel/on Street parking will be at the client(s) expense and must be paid in full on the day of the event. Client(s) need to inform the artist if onsite parking is unavailable so alternative arrangements can be made. 

TRAVEL: Group bookings made outside the Brisbane CBD area will incur a travel fee POA. 

LIABILITY: Clients are responsible to inform the artist prior to makeup application of any known illness, skin conditions or allergies. The client(s) agree to release the artist from any liability arising from any allergic reaction, consequential personal injury or damages arising from the consenting use of the products offered by the artist. The artist is released from any liability arising from any parking issues, fines and/or damages of any type the client(s) incurred from attending the location of where the makeup service is conducted. 

PHOTOGRAPHY: The artist reserves the right to take photos and/or video records of the makeup application and may use such materials for any marketing and/or advertising purposes unless otherwise specified by the clients at the time of the appointment.  

Weddings

SECURING THE DATE: A wedding date is only secure once proof of payment of the bridal trial is paid in full. Payment of the booking fee is acknowledged as acceptance and agreement of the following terms and conditions stipulated in this contract.

Clients must book and complete their trial no less then 8 weeks prior to the wedding date. Following the trial, your wedding date will be held for 7-days upon which a 30% booking fee of the quoted amount is required to secure the wedding date. If payment is not received within that 7-day period the wedding date is not secure and may be cancelled. All booking fees/payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Saturday bookings require a minimum of 5 people (adults) for artist to come to location. If there is less then the minimum requirement (5 people), you have the option of paying the minimum Saturday rate ($600). 

CHANGES/CANCELATIONS: Clients can cancel their wedding booking when a minimum of 8-weeks notice is given and only lose the 30% booking fee. Cancelations made within a 8-week period will be liable for the total amount of your quoted invoice. Clients are liable to cover the costs incurred from debt collectors/legal fee to recover all money owing to Juliana Cruz Makeup should they fail to pay any outstanding amounts.

Any reduction in the number of makeup applications will not be permitted once initial quote is accepted. The full quoted invoice amount is required to be paid in its entirety regardless if the total number of makeup applications has reduced for the wedding day. Any additional makeup applications or changes to location or timing of the wedding maybe accommodated if deemed suitable by the artist. This contract is non-negotiable.

TRAVEL/PARKING: A travel fee may apply outside the Brisbane metro area and is calculated by distance and time. Travel fee is calculated and stated on the quote. All parking costs associated with providing that makeup service must be covered in full by the client.
